This department has an assessment service which is in charge of seeing and evaluating the patient´s state of health by a specialist in Rehabilitation Medicine, to achieve individualized treatment including the following modalities:

• Hydrotherapy: a tank with a small, medium and large whirlpool
• Thermal therapy: Paraffin bath, hydrocollators with cold and hot pads
• Electrotherapy: Ultrasound, electrostimulators, different types of currents (interferencial, diadynamic, high voltage, etc.) and laser.
• Mechanotherapy: Cervical and pelvic traction, ergometry, parallel bars, exercise mat and gymnasium equipment.

We are staffed and have equipment for helping our patients recover their health in a more efficient way from diverse neuro-muscular and skeletal diseases and lesions of the spinal column, fractures, traumatisms, joint diseases, hemiparalysis and paraplegia, among others.
